ABOUT
Brun Lea Guest House is a family run business which Alison and Shaune Coulthard have run together since 1981. The guest house is ideally located on a residential street which is only a one minute walk into the town centre. We offer quallity, comfortable rooms and a supperb cooked breakfast at a sensible price.
OUR ROOMS
We have 8 lovely modern rooms available to let at Brun Lea Guest House. 6 of which are en-suite while the other 2 standard rooms share 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets.
Room 1 (Standard Double Room)
A standard double bedded room on the first floor, looking out onto a quiet residential private yard. The room is close to 2 large bathrooms & 3 toilets. Towels are provided & there is ample wardrobe and drawer storage. The room has TV, central heating, kettle & hospitality tray (re-filled daily) Radio alarm clock, hair dryer & wash hand basin. This room has a discount for single occupancy.
Room 2 (Standard Family Room)
A spacious standard family room on the first floor with a street view. Close by are 2 large bathrooms & 3 toilets. This room has 1 double bed & 2 single beds in it so can be useful to let to adults & families. There is ample wardrobe & drawer storage. Towels are provided. The room has TV, kettle & hospitality tray, (re-filled daily) hair dryer, radio alarm clock plus it's own wash hand basin. A dog is allowed to stay with the owner in this room by prior arrangement when booking.
Room 3 (En-Suite Double Room)
An en-suite room with a double bed on the second floor. This room faces the back of the house, looking over a quiet residential yard, with mountain top views. The en-suite has a wash basin, WC & electric step in shower. Towels are provided. There's ample wardrobe and drawer storage, central heating, TV, kettle with hospitality tray, (re-filled daily) Hair dryer& radio alarm clock. A dog is allowed in this room with the owner if pre arranged when booking. This room has a single occupancy discount.
Room 4 (En-Suite Twin Room)
An en-suite twin bedded room on the second floor with 2 single beds, being at the front of the house overlooking the street, it has views of the mountain tops. There's ample wardrobe and drawer storage. The room has central heating, TV, kettle & hospitality tray, (re-filled daily) hair dryer & radio alarm clock. Towels are provided. The en-suite has a wash basin, WC & step in electric shower. This room has a single occupancy discount.
Room 5 (En-Suite Double Room)
An en-suite double bedded room on the first floor. This room faces the back of the house overlooking a private yard. There's ample wardrobe and drawer storage. Central heating, TV, kettle & hospitality tray (re-filled daily) hair dryer & radio alarm clock. The en-suite has a wash basin, WC & step in thermostatic mixer shower. Towels are provided. There is a single occupancy discount in this room.
Room 6 (En-Suite Double Room)
An en-suite double bedded room on the first floor. Facing the front of the house it has a street view. There's ample wardrobe and drawer storage, central heating, TV, kettle & hospitality tray (re-filled daily) hair dryer & radio alarm clock. The en-suite has shelving, a wash basin, WC & a step in thermostatic mixer shower. Towels are provided. A dog is allowed to stay in room No. 6 with the owner, by prior arrangement when booking. There is a single occupancy discount in this room.

Dining Room
The dining room is a large spacious area on the ground floor. There are separate tables for couples of family groups.
A help yourself buffet bar for cereals, fruit , yoghurts or brunch bars is available and full English breakfast is served once you are ready. Vegetarian and continental breakfasts are catered for too.
OUR SERVICES & LOCAL FACILITIES
Breakfast
We offer both cooked and conntinental breakfasts.
The cooked breakfast consists of Bacon, Egg, Cumberland Sausage, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Hash Brown and Baked Beans.
The Continental Buffet is a selection of Cereals, Fresh Fruits, Yoghurts, Breakfast Bars, Croissants, Brioche Rolls, Orange Juice, Tea/Coffee and an unlimited supply of Brown or White Toast.
Garden
We have a front patio garden where you can sit and relax.
Daily Housekeeping
All rooms are made up and cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied.
Free Wifi
We offer all our guests access to free Wifi throughout all the rooms.
In-Room Service's
In each of our rooms, we have tea and coffee making facilities and also a selection of biscuits.
We also have a Colour Freeview TV, Radio Alarm Clock, Hairdryer, Fan and Central Heating in all the rooms.
Car Parking
We do have limited spaces to park but these cannot be reserved. There is free on street parking and we will endeavor to help everyone find a space.

Standard Room (Not En-Suite, but there's 3 toilets and 2 large bathrooms close by on the landing. )

Additional Adults
Any additional Adult in a room above 2 people - £35.00 each
Children
Children staying in a Family room with 2 Adults -£25.00 per child
Single Occupancy
Although all our rooms are for a minimum of 2 Adults, There is a £20.00
discount per night for single occupancy
We do not as a rule take pre booked one night bookings, but if we have known availability or perhaps have them on the day, we could accept them. To check for availability and get the best price please call us direct to enquire.

Dogs
Well behaved dogs are allowed in some of our rooms by prior arrangement with the host at a cost of £15.00 per stay per dog although some rules apply.
They are not allowed in the dining room at any time.
They are not allowed to be left alone in the room if owners are leaving the premises.
They must be kept on a lead while passing through the house.
Please don't allow dogs on the beds.
